Beauty Unleashed is owned and managed by Amanda Salvary-Sambrano. Amanda was born and raised on the Twin Island of Trinidad and Tobago, with Trinidad being her home. She migrated to the United States in 1999 at the age of 17 with her mother, one of three sisters and her stepfather.

After living and working in Charleston for some time, she enrolled at Charleston Cosmetology Institute where she studied and graduated with honors. She later went on to sit and pass the State Board Examination with a top score of 97%.

Despite having been molested at a tender age and gang-raped as a teenager, among other advertisers, she never gave up on her life long dream of owning her full-service salon. Amanda knew she needed an outlet to channel her thoughts and turn her pain into passion; she knew she wasn’t alone.

So in October of 2013, she embarked on a journey to create a safe haven where women from all walks of life and different backgrounds, can unleash their beauty trapped beneath layers of past hurt, pain, and disappointment. Amanda makes it clear that healing is the driving force behind the safe haven known as Beauty Unleashed!!!
